OCSC Pentathlon
The Pentathlon is a meet specifically for OCSC participants. In this meet, swimmers must participate in all 5 events, which include the Fly, Back, Breast, Free, and the Individual Medley to earn a combined total score. This combined total score is ranked among the other swimmers in the same age group and gender to award the Top 8 swimmers with medals.
In addition to individual scores, there are team rankings and awards. On occasion, teams may be divided into Divisions based on the size of the meet.
Events:
5-6 year olds swim 25 yards events but do not swim the 100 IM.
8 & under swim 25 yard events and the 100 IM
9 & up swim 50 yard events and the 100 IM.
